Topology and Prüfer domains.

Prime spectra and abstract Riemann surfaces of valuation domains play a central role in commu- tative algebra: they are often helpful in describing classes of integral domains and their ideals in topological terms. The aim of this talk is provide some recent developments regarding the use of such spaces in studying Prüfer domains.
